The Board of Directors of the Kaitlin HarrisFoundation About us… The Kaitlin Harris Foundation was established in memory of our daughter, Kaitlin, who tragically ended her own life by suicide at the age of fifteen on March 25, 2004. Out of our grief we decided to use our tragedy to offer Hope, Help and Healing for adolescents who suffer from depression and mental illness and to prevent further loss of life. Through this Foundation we want to work for the advancement of early intervention of depression and suicide prevention in research, school screening programs, education and support. In Kaitlin's struggle with depression she wrote about her angel offering her "Wings to Live…". With your support we will continue to carry on her message of hope and light for healing.
